01 — Capabilities

Four disciplines under one roof — measured, fabricated, installed.

Field-to-fabrication

Most window contractors source from one catalogue and subcontract the rest. We run the full sequence: field measurement, CAD detailing, factory fabrication, jobsite installation, and post-install service. Nothing falls between trades.

01 / Design

CAD-detailing & specification

Every opening is field-verified and redrawn at 1:1 in our studio. Shop drawings, NFRC specs, and structural calculations delivered within 5 business days of deposit.

02 / Fabrication

Thermally-broken aluminum

Break-milled, polyamide-strutted frames cut and welded in our Brooklyn Navy Yard shop. Wood cladding — mahogany, white oak, cypress — joined with floating-mortise tenons.

03 / Installation

WBE-certified field crews

Two four-person crews, OSHA-30 certified, traveling continental US. Self-perform flashing, sealant, and trim — no subs on the building envelope. Punchlist closed within 14 days.

04 / Service

12-year envelope warranty

Glass, sealant, hardware, and operation covered for twelve years from substantial completion. Annual inspection included. Sash replacement and reglazing for the life of the building.

02 — What we install

Six systems.
One standard.

We deliberately limit our catalogue. Every system below is one we have installed at least fifty times — meaning every field condition has been seen, sequenced, and solved. New products enter the catalogue only after a year of mockup testing.

04 — How we work

A six-step sequence — field to fabrication to finish.

Every project runs the same six-step protocol regardless of size. The sequence was written in 2016 and has been refined after 1,200+ installations. Deviations require sign-off from the founder.

Workshop detail
01

Site survey & field measurement

Two field technicians measure every opening to 1/16" tolerance using digital calipers and laser-distance meters. Rough opening, sill condition, header, jamb plumb — all recorded and photographed. Existing windows removed only after new units pass shop QA.

Duration 1–2 days
Deliverable Field report + photos
02

CAD detailing & shop drawings

Each opening redrawn at 1:1 in CAD. Shop drawings issued with NFRC, structural calculations, and sealant schedule. Two rounds of revision included; additional revisions billed hourly.

Duration 5–7 days
Deliverable Signed shop drawings
03

Factory fabrication

Frames cut, welded, and heat-strutted at our Brooklyn Navy Yard shop. Wood cladding joined in the same facility — no outsourcing of joinery. Each unit gets a serial number traceable to material lot.

Duration 3–4 weeks
Deliverable QA-stamped units
04

Pre-install mockup

For commercial work and any residential opening over 60 sq ft, a mockup is built on-site for one opening before the rest ship. Architect and GC sign off; rest of run releases after approval.

Deliverable Approved sample
05

Jobsite installation

Two four-person crews, OSHA-30. Self-perform flashing, sealant, and trim — no subs on the building envelope. Daily cleanup, daily photo log, daily condition report uploaded to client portal.
